Solution to the field-shift puzzle in singly-charged calcium
2020/12/10
Our measurements of the transition frequencies in the singly-charged stable calcium isotopes have been published in Physical Review Research . With these, the discrepancy between experiment and theory existing in the field-shift ratio of two electric dipole transitions was solved.

Nuclear Moments of Sn-133 published
2020/11/09
Measurements of the magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moment of the exotic nucleus 133 Sn by high-resolution laser spectroscopy at ISOLDE /CERN have been published in Physical Review C as a Rapid Communication. These, in combination with state-of-the-art shell-model calculations, demonstrate the doubly-magic character of its immediate neighbor 132 Sn.
