New high-voltage divider was delivered to the Institute of Nuclear Physics
On Monday January 27th, a new high-voltage divider was delivered to the Institute of Nuclear Physics at TU Darmstadt. The divider of the company Ohm-Labs is supposed to measure high voltages up to 250 kV at the electron cooler of the ESR storage ring with an anticipated accuracy of better than 10-4. go

First results of laser spectroscopy on Cd isotopes published
First results of laser spectroscopy on Cd isotopes are published in Physical Review Letters with the title “Spins, Electromagnetic Moments, and Isomers of 107-129Cd”. There we report about an interesting trend in the quadrupole moments of 11/2- isomers along the isomeric chain. go
