S-DALINAC

60 Years Electron Acceleration

60 years ago, the electron accelerator DALINAC was put into operation at the Technische Hochschule at that time. In the year 1991, the successor S-DALINAC followed at which research is done until today. The Institute for Nuclear Physics celebrated the 60-year operation of electron acceleration on October 1, 2024, with a ceremonial act and an open house presentation.
