Charge radii and theory of exotic tin isotopes published in PRL
2025/11/26
Charge radii measurements from 104-134Sn and corresponding ab initio calculations within the SFB 1245 have been published in Physical Review Letters. The measurements clarify the arch-like trend in charge radii along the isotopic chain and reveal an odd-even staggering that is more pronounced near the N=50 and N=82 shell closures.
