A position-sensitive Frisch-gridded ionization chamber has been constructed and tested for the usage in future photo-fission experiments at the ELI-NP facility. The detector will be used to measure fission fragment mass- and TKE-distributions as well as both the azimuthal and polar angular distribution of produced fission fragments.
