Physical Review Letters article of COLLAPS collaboration published

The isomer shift of Cd 11/2^- isomers shows an almost parabolic behavior with neutron number. This “Simple Nuclear Structure in ^111–129Cd from Atomic Isomer Shifts” is being presented in a Physical Review Letters article of the COLLAPS collaboration that just appeared (D. Yordanov et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 116, 032501 (2016)). We demonstrate that this behavior is directly related to the linear behavior of the quadrupole moments that we had presented earlier.
