Surprisingly regular behavior of Sn isotopes observed

2020/06/09

In our studies of tin isotopes at COLLAPS, we have found a surprisingly regular behavior of the electric quadrupole moments of isotopes and isomers. In some respects it is analog to the behavior previously reported in Cd isotopes but in other aspects it is considerably different. The article appeared in Communications Physics, an open access journal of the Nature group.
