Nuclear Moments of Sn-133 published

Measurements of the magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moment of the exotic nucleus ¹³³Sn by high-resolution laser spectroscopy at ISOLDE/CERN have been published in Physical Review C as a Rapid Communication. These, in combination with state-of-the-art shell-model calculations, demonstrate the doubly-magic character of its immediate neighbor ¹³²Sn.
