New DAQ System employed for the Spectroscopy of Germanium Isotopes at COLLAPS

2020/11/30

Our measurements of nuclear moments of the Germanium isotopes Ge-69,71,73 have been published today in Physical Review C. The new data acquisition system TILDA was used and demonstrated its versatility by identifying a molecular component of the beam.
The analysis was carried out by limiting the detection window to those photons originating only from Ge atoms. Results for the magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments are discussed in the paper and compared to large-scale shell-model calculations, revealing rather mixed configurations of their wavefunctions.
