ATLANTIS is online

The LASPEC beamline, originally designed for collinear laser spectroscopy at FAIR, has been connected to the Californium Rare Isotope Breeder Upgrade (CARIBU) and is now the central part of ATLANTIS (Argonne Tandem hall LAser beamliNe for aTom and Ion Spectroscopy).
It has been commissioned in October and had its first physics run in November. The beamtime was very successful and we were able to measure the neutron-rich isotopes Pd-110,112-116.
