First test measurements with the ALIVE setup
2016/12/20
On December 19./20. we have performed first test measurements of the ALIVE concept in comparison with high voltage dividers from PTB. Dr. Johann Meisner and Stephan Passon from PTB Braunschweig provided the HV dividers and participated at the measurements.

The results of laser spectroscopic investigations on Fe-52 were published
2016/12/16
The results of laser spectroscopic investigations on Fe-52 at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) appeared in Physical Review Letters. The charge radius of radioactive 52-Fe (26 neutrons) was determined to be greater than the radius of the heavier 54-Fe isotope with 28 neutrons, and only slightly smaller than that of 56-Fe.
